AWESOME!

I purchased this for our 5 year old Kindergarten son. He REALLY wanted it and as a reward for academic achievement we purchased this last night. He put half of it together last night by himself and completed the rest this morning waking before 6 a.m. to do so. He absolutely loves this police vehicle. I love that he can follow directions to build it strengthen fine motor skills with small parts and use imaginative play. It is now about noon and he has not stopped playing with this toy. pretty nifty set

My husband and I got this LEGO set for our 9 year old son and he absolutely loves it. He is a LEGO nut and had been specifically looking for a LEGO people set so he can interchange the outfits hairs etc. to build his own LEGO characters. This set has pretty much every general "character" you can think of...from a pro-skateboarder to a firefighter. This set is also great for kids who enjoy role-play because of the various characters offered in this set. The only thing that caught us a bit off-guard was the size of the box. Based on the price we paid (around $43) we thought the box would be bigger...although there are 200 something LEGO people pieces. I guess we're just used to seeing a bigger LEGO box when we purchase a set for $40. Regardless we all have enjoyed playing with the LEGO people.More detail ...

My nephew really liked it!

My nephew loves Legos. He wanted a Lego Star Wars set for his seventh birthday. This set was easy for him to build by himself. Once he built it he has a great time "flying" it around the house.



The set is small as the number of pieces and the dimenstions indicate so don't expect anything big. I think it is a good introductory Star Wars set.



The price on Lego.com is $9.99 plus shipping which is just a little more than Amazon's price.

Fun new set :)

Very cute new Star Wars Lego set. Easy to put together for your 6 year old with a nice amount of mini-figures.



PRO's-5 nice and very cool mini-figures (2 Hoth Troopers 2 Snowtroopers Hoth Han Solo) plus a great looking Taun Taun figure (so I guess you could say 6 figures). Cool looking Snowtrooper weapon and a rotating gun turret with a hidden door and top hatch to hold a figure. Also neat is behind the 'snow' wall the two Hoth Troopers stand on a tilting platform. When you push down on the center section you can snap the figures into the air simulating an expolsion.



CON's- The turret at times comes off too easily from the base but it's still very playable.



I recommend it for younger Star Wars Lego fans and for fans looking for some neat figures.More detail ...

Keep them busy

My grand child requested this toy and I bought it via Amazon eventhough I paid high shipping charges. I later learned that I paid what the nearby Target charges!.



The people were such a big hit I bought another set locally! Kept two kids who normally bicker endlessly happy and quiet for several hours!
